Hey everybody! Today I want to talk to you about something very important and urgent. I have been seeing in the comments section of other channels where people are saying they don’t feel that they need to prepare their households with food and water because they believe God will provide for them when it’s time.
I don’t want to be insensitive here and I don’t want to discourage anyone from having that level of faith. God can certainly do all things and He does provide for those in need. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t try to help you understand the importance of prepping and the understanding of how God provides and calls us to prepare.
In Genesis 6:21, God tells Noah to store up food for himself, his family, and the animals prior to the flood. And lets not forget that God had already called Noah to build the ark for himself, his family, and the animals. Could God have supernaturally provided an ark along with all the food and necessities they would have needed? Yes. Of course He could have. However, God does not operate like that.
God has already created the earth, the sun, the moon, and all that is in the universe. He created animals and He planted trees and plants and all sorts of edible things for us. He has given us all that we could ever need to survive. He blesses us with jobs and sources of money so that we can buy whatever we need. All things are approved or disapproved by God. He opens and closes doors. Nothing comes or goes without His knowing. All that you have or ever will have has been allowed by God. Not to mention the necessities we purchase that have been created for us. God gave man the mind to create toilet paper and soap and perfumes and all the little things we take for granted that we use in our daily lives.
In Genesis 41, God gave pharaoh a dream, warning him about seven years of abundance and seven years of famine. He called for Joseph to interpret his dream and God used Joseph to tell pharaoh that he needed to store up grain for the coming famine. Then God put Joseph in the position to oversee this task for pharaoh.
In both instances with Noah and Joseph, God warned of an event coming where they were going to need to have food stored up. God called these men to physically store up what they needed for themselves and for others so that they wouldn’t go without. God did not supernaturally cause a plate with food to appear before them saying, “Eat.” And He will not do that for you.
God has called His Watchmen to warn the people to store up food and water for the event that is coming. This warning began to go out atleast six years ago. And since then, some who have stored up food for a coming famine have found out that they have had a need for that food and have been grateful that they had it already stored up. I myself have been in that situation twice already just this year! I was very grateful that God called me to store up provisions for my household because I wouldn’t have had them when I needed them.
God warns us of things so that we may prepare. And He provides for those who seek Him. Don’t be caught off guard. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Right now is the time to get things stored up if you haven’t already. The supply chain is breaking down. There are shortages everywhere with everything. Food and goods will not last long. The shelves will be completely empty soon. If not within the next 6 months then most definitely within a year. And when the snake venom gets mandated for every person on the earth, you will not be able to go to any store and shop for what you need without a venom passport. In some places, it’s already to the point where you will not get service without a passport.
Please do not waste this time. And do not worry that if you start preparing that means you have no faith. I just told you that God called both Noah and Joseph to store up provisions. God will not look at you unfavorably if you store up provisions for yourself. He WANTS you to do this.
When destruction comes and you are not prepared, you may not be able to count on other people to give you what you need. When that time comes, the mentality of atleast 90% of the people will be ‘every man for himself’.
Right now, there are some who say they are storing up provisions for those who will be left behind. But if those people are still here when destruction comes, you can guarantee their attitude is going to change. They will be scared and will not want to share their provisions with anyone. So it is imperative that you store up what you can for yourself now before it’s too late.
If Joseph would have ignored God’s calling for him to oversee the storing of provisions, everyone who depended on the Egyptian government would have suffered and gone without. Most likely, everyone would have died of starvation. You don’t want that to be you.
I am not telling you to go to the store and get everything you can possibly get all at once. We must be mindful of others who are also in need. Don’t get 10 cases of water. Get maybe 2 cases at each trip. Don’t buy up every bag of beans or every bag of rice all at once. Get maybe 5 or 6 bags each time you go to the store. And if you live in a small space and you think you can’t fit any extra provisions in the space you live in, trust me, you can find space to store up what you need. I live in a one bedroom apartment and it’s like a shoe box. I didn’t think I would have room either, but I’ve made room. Now my living space is incredibly cluttered but I have what I need when I need it.
For those who think they can’t afford to store up extra provisions, there was a time I didn’t have the money either. But I prayed and asked God to bless me financially so I could get what I needed and He did. I also used tax money and any extra money we had to buy things here and there. It is possible if you really want to do it.
Hopefully this message helped to encourage you and think about all of this a little differently.
The main thing we need to be prepared for is Jesus. He is coming very quickly for those who have chosen him to be their Lord and Savior and have been faithful. Time is at the point of acceleration. Things are happening very rapidly. So please be ready for Jesus. You cannot afford not to be. Giving your life to Him is the one thing that does not cost you anything and it’s not going to take up space in your home. And as long as you are in His salvation, you will be in His refuge. There is nothing He will not or can not do for you if you belong to Him. Giving your life to Jesus Christ is the most important thing you can ever do for yourself and for your eternity. Let your prepping start with full surrender to Him, then let Him help you get what you need.
Please understand that what I am saying is coming from a place of love. I don’t want you to end up with nothing if and when you need provisions. Don’t be like the five foolish virgins of Matthew 25. They had no oil in their lamps because they didn’t prepare and when the Lord came, they tried to buy what the five wise virgins had. But the five wise virgins refused to give to them because they feared there wouldn’t be enough for them and the foolish virgins. Just as I said earlier, don’t count on others to provide for you.
Until next time everybody, God bless each and every one of you. Be ready for Jesus! Shalom.
