Hello again everyone. This is my second message of the week and I hope it is as encouraging to you as the first one, if not more so.

In my last message, I mentioned to you about the struggles I’ve been facing this year and about how Satan has been trying to steal away all of God’s blessings. In a most recent event that I faced, God taught me about His timing and having the patience to wait for His blessing.

We know that our timing is not God’s timing.

2 Peter 3:8

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.

We pray for blessings or deliverance and we expect an immediate response. Sometimes we do get an immediate response with God rushing to our rescue. But sometimes we ask for something and see nothing immediately. We wait and we wait. We cry out from our desperation and still we see and hear nothing. But then one day when we least expect it, God’s blessing finally comes.

When we see and hear no response from God, it doesn’t mean He doesn’t care or that His answer is, “No.” We must be patient. He may be fighting on our behalf or making things happen for us that we cannot yet see.

His time is not our time because we want an immediate response like we want our food; hot and fast. It takes God time to prepare our blessing as He moves on our behalf. Those moves can sometimes be dependent on others He has chosen to use for our blessing and sometimes God waits to bring our blessing or our deliverance because He sees things coming that we cannot see. Perhaps to bring a blessing now would not be as great as bringing that blessing later when it can be even greater. Perhaps to bring that blessing now may cost you something and cause the blessing to become a curse. So blessing you later will be better and cost you nothing.

We don’t stop to consider the variables. God does. So the next time you get discouraged, thinking your blessing isn’t coming, wait for it. Your blessing will come at just the right time when you least expect it.

Here are some encouraging scriptures to help you.

Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Ephesians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places…

Matthew 6:30-33

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Exodus 23:25

Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.

Proverbs 16:20

Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,

and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.

I hope you have all been encouraged by these messages. In my third and final message for this week, I will be giving a warning. Please take heed to that warning and be prepared. I’ll see you in the next one. God bless each and every one of you. Shalom.
